Escaping from poverty thanks to VBSP’s loans
(VBSP News) From the job creation lending program of VBSP, many households in Mang Yang district (Gia Lai province) can develop their economy and get out of poverty. From the beginning of 2020 up to now, 8,290 households in Mang Yang district are borrowed loans with total outstanding loans of VND 273.5 billion; in which, outstanding loans for newly escaped from poverty households, near poor households, job creation program and production and business households in extremely disadvantaged areas are VND 4.3 billion, VND 13.2 billion, VND 3.6 billion and VND 8.7 billion respectively.

Customer Djung's family in Dak Trok village, Dak Ya commune borrowed VND 30 million from the job creation lending program to invest in 1,000 coffee trees, 2,000 litsea trees and 4 cows
After 2 years, customer Djung's family had a stable income. After borrowing loans from VBSP, the family bought a rice mill to serve people in the village. Up to now, the average income of customer Djung's family has reached more than VND 80 million/year
Borrowing loans from VBSP in Mang Yang district, customer Nhim from De Kop village, Kon Duong town invested in buying water pipes and renovating the old coffee garden. Up to now, his family has escaped from poverty and has a stable income source
In early 2018, customer Hui's family (on the right) in De Kop village, Kon Duong town borrowed loans from VBSP in Mang Yang district to buy 2 pairs of cows and plant litsea. The family's income is now nearly VND 100 million/year
In 2013, customer Nguyen Van Lap in Dak Djrang commune borrowed loans to create jobs from VBSP’s job creation lending program to invest in planting nearly 80 durian trees in the garden. Durian garden brings his family the income of over VND 100 million/year
