VBSP's Preferential Loan Scheme for Social Housing
As of Apr. 28, 2025, the total outstanding loans of VBSP reached VND 386 trillion (approx. USD 14,9 billion), an increase of VND 18,8 trillion (~USD 723 million) compared to the end of 2024, in which, the total outstanding loan for social housing were VND 10,3 trillion (~USD 397 million), taking account of 2.66% of the total loan portfolio of the whole system. In the first 03 months of 2025, the credit growth of social housings' loan schemes have supported the construction of more than 1,200 residential dwellings for the poor and 1,800 social housings for low-income groups.
