VBSP Promotes Digital Transformation by Organizing 03 - Information Security Training Sessions for Staff

Recently in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Can Tho, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP), in collaboration with The Asia Foundation and the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, organized a series of training courses on information security and safety for leaders and staff from functional and IT offices across VBSP’s provincial branches

The training program provided VBSP personnel with essential knowledge and skills, enabling them to proactively identify, prevent, and respond to cybersecurity risks in the context of rapid digital transformation and the growing influence of artificial intelligence (AI).

Participants in the Hanoi session attentively followed a lecture on information security in the era of digital transformation and AI delivered by an expert

The lecture was presented by Ngo Viet Khoi, a Security and Information Safety Awareness Specialist and member of the National Cybersecurity Association (NCA). Combining a systematic knowledge base with vivid real-world examples, his presentation focused on raising awareness of information security within organizations. He emphasized that while the human factor is often the weakest link, it can also serve as the strongest line of defense in safeguarding an organization’s “digital assets” from within.

In addition, participants were updated on practical regulations and policies related to information security and the operation of application software systems by lecturers who are leaders and officials from VBSP’s IT Center. The sessions also provided a platform for participants to exchange and discuss new features, as well as challenges and difficulties encountered in operating and managing information security systems at their respective branches.
