(VBSP News) In the morning of November 9, in Hanoi, the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vietnam held a ceremony to announce and award the medal "Business Partnerships Platform" (BPP) for organizations that have made positive contributions to the BPP program. Attending the ceremony were Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marise Payne, Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son and Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Robyn Mudie.

Training course “Green finance for renewable energy development in Viet Nam”

(VBSP News) On September 28, 2021, VBSP coordinated with the Green Innovation and Development Center (Green ID) and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) organized an online training course on “Green finance for renewable energy development in Viet Nam”. The training course was held via the Zoom Cloud Meetings software with 31 participants who are representatives of leaders and officers of units at the VBSP Headquarters. Experienced experts in green finance of GreenID and UNEP directly participated in teaching.

Solutions on VBSP’s social and environmental risk management

(VBSP News) As the lifeblood of the economy, the domestic banking system is currently playing an important role in eliminating projects with adverse impacts to environment & society, and green & sustainable growth. According to the green banking survey report in 2019 of State Bank of Vietnam and Asian Development Bank, the whole country has 22 credit institutions, including VBSP, providing green credit with total outstanding loans of VND 284.5 trillion.
