(VBSP News) Surveys in Con Cuong district and Tuong Duong (Nghe An) show that most repatriating people are minor ethnic groups, who didn't take any vocational training. They work based mostly on their own experiences. Hence, it is considered that their conditions are both disadvantageous and beneficial. The local government encourages repatriating people to change careers, to create job opportunities for them.

(VBSP News) Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh is a typical example of women doing good economic work among members of the Women's Union of Tho Son hamlet, Tho Hop commune, Quy Hop district (Nghe An). Honestly, start-up is often difficult at first, especially for a single woman. That is why accessing loans from VBSP is like a ray of hope to change her life as well as others women in the village.

Production recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic

(VBSP News) Currently, the VBSP branch in Tien Giang province is focusing on promoting supported funds, implementing programs and projects to help poor households and other policy beneficiaries to overcome difficulties and restore production after the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to quick procedures and timely disbursement, people have a source of capital to develop their own business during a new normal state in Tien Giang province.

(VBSP News) Up to now, the number of Thanh Hoa people returning from the epidemic area is nearly 205,000, of which the number of people at working age is 160,800. Among these workers, many have the need to stay in their homeland for vocational training and new job opportunities. The issue of creating jobs and creating livelihoods for workers returning from epidemic areas to stabilize society is an urgent requirement.
