VBSP: Increase the rate of credit growth to 10%
The Prime Minister has decided to supplement 2% to the credit plan in 2016 of VBSP, bringing increase of outstanding credit of the bank in 2016 from 8% to 10%.

In particular, the Prime Minister decides to add 2%, equivalent to VND 2,550 billion making total increase of targeted outstanding loans of VBSP to be 10%, equivalent to VND 12,800 billion, compared with that in 2015.
With mandated loan outstanding increase target in 2016, VBSP shall focus on lending to the poor and near poor following multidimensional poverty scale for the stage of 2016 to 2020; supplement additional funding for recovery from natural disasters as severe cold in the North and Central North, drought in the Central and Central Highlands, saltwater intrusion in the Mekong Delta and marine disaster in the four Central provinces.
