Bringing a Warm Spring to the Poor
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Trade Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) continues to implement the program "Loving Spring - Sharing Tet." This initiative aims to join hands in supporting disadvantaged families to celebrate a joyful and happy Lunar New Year.

With the hope of welcoming the new spring with the best things for everyone, Trade Unions of VBSP have actively organized visits to offer gifts to those in particularly difficult circumstances. These efforts include aiding policy beneficiary families, low-income households, families severely affected by storms and floods, and providing gifts to underprivileged but diligent students. These contributions help alleviate hardships, enabling recipients to celebrate a joyful and warm Lunar New Year.
In Lang Son Province, the Trade Union of VBSP allocated 200 Tet gift packages to poor households and policy beneficiary families, with a total value of VND 240 million . Among these, in Khanh Khe Commune, Van Quan District, 100 gift packages were presented to poor households and policy beneficiary families. Each package, worth VND 1.2 million, included cash, confectionery, essential goods, and other items.

In Tay Ninh Province, VBSP donated 200 Tet gift packages to disadvantaged households and policy beneficiary families in Trang Bang Town and Go Dau District. The total value amounted to VND 160 million, with each gift package worth VND 800,000, including essential goods and cash.

In Binh Phuoc Province, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, VBSP presented 200 Tet gift packages to disadvantaged households and policy beneficiary families in Phuoc Tin Commune (Phuoc Long Town) and Phu Trung Commune (Phu Rieng District), with a total value of VND 160 million. These gifts represent the heartfelt sentiments of VBSP, aiming to encourage local people to overcome difficulties.

In Bac Giang Province, VBSP has delivered 166 Tet gift packages to poor and near-poor households. Quy Son commune received 126 packages and Chu ward in Chu town received 40 packages. Each gift package is valued at VND 1.2 million. These gifts represent the heartfelt sentiments and care of VBSP, aiming to share a part of the difficulties and help the people enjoy a joyful and warm Tet holiday.

In Cao Bang Province, the Trade Union of VBSP presented 271 gifts to poor households, near-poor households and policy beneficiary families in Hoa An, Nguyen Binh and Trung Khanh districts, with a total value of VND 240 million. Specifically, in Nuoc Hai town, Hoa An district, 100 gifts were given to poor and near-poor households, each valued at VND 1.2 million. These gifts represent the heartfelt sentiments of VBSP, aiming to share some of the difficulties and help residents celebrate a joyful and warm Lunar New Year.

Leaders of VBSP and the Quy Chau District People's Committee celebrated the Lunar New Year with the local people, sharing a warm and loving atmosphere
Although the Tet gifts may not costly, they represent the heartfelt sentiments of all VBSP staff. These gifts are given to poor households, near-poor households and other policy beneficiaries with the hope of celebrating a warm and loving Tet holiday. Previously, in Nghe An Province, VBSP provided VND 300 million to support residents in Que Phong and Quy Chau Districts in recovering from flood damage. In 2024, VBSP also allocated VND 400 million to build eight solidarity houses in the disadvantaged districts, including two houses in Thong Thu Commune (Que Phong District) and two houses in Chau Hanh Commune (Quy Chau District).
In Ha Tinh Province, VBSP presented 200 Tet gift packages to disadvantaged households in Huong Lam and Huong Lien Communes. Each package valued at VND 800,000, included cash and essential goods; total value of VND 160 million.

Over the years, VBSP has consistently affirmed its role as an economic leverage tool of the Government, enabling poor households, near-poor households and other policy beneficiaries to access social policy credit. This support helps them develop production and business activities, create jobs, increase income, and get out of poverty. In addition, throughout its journey of growth and development, VBSP has always prioritized its social responsibility to the community, striving to ensure that "no one is left behind". The spirit of mutual support and gratitude has become a cherished tradition and a hallmark of compassionate cultural values, respected and actively upheld by generations of VBSP staff.
