The VBSP Trade Union provides VND 1 billion (approximately USD 40,000) to support Dak Lak Province in overcoming natural disaster consequences

On the afternoon of 4 December, a working delegation from VBSP led by Mr. Duong Quyet Thang - Member of the Party Committee of the Government, Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, and VBSP General Director - presented VND 1 billion (approximately USD 40,000) in support to Dak Lak Province to help address the consequences of recent natural disasters.

VBSP General Director Duong Quyet Thang witnesses the VBSP Trade Union handing over the support funding to Dak Lak Province

Representing Dak Lak Province in receiving the support were Mr. Tran Huu The, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and Mr. Nguyen Thien Van, Provincial Party Committee Member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

Given the severe damages caused by recent floods across the province, the VBSP Trade Union’s contribution is considered highly timely, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and the institution’s strong sense of social responsibility toward the community.

The support funding will help Dak Lak Province effectively implement post-disaster recovery efforts, enabling affected residents to restore production and stabilize their livelihoods.

Speaking at the reception ceremony, Mr. Tran Huu The, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak Province, expressed his deep appreciation for VBSP’s support. He affirmed that the province will allocate the funding to the right purposes and beneficiaries, ensuring the highest effectiveness of the assistance.

“This support serves as significant encouragement, providing motivation for the authorities and people of Dak Lak Province to overcome difficulties and strive toward recovery after the natural disaster,” he emphasized.

On this occasion, the VBSP Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union launched a fundraising campaign among trade union members to support households affected by the floods, promoting the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility.
