Nearly VND 5,000 billion for boosting overseas workers
Prime Minister Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has just signed the Decision on approving the assistance project for poor districts to accelerate labor export, contributing to poverty reduction in 2009-2020.
The support policies include: to help workers to learn supplementary education, job training, foreign languages and improve necessary knowledge for working abroad, to give laborers preferential loans with 50% of the availing interest rate applied for overseas workers; vocational schools for overseas workers are also entitled to borrow preferential loans to improve training scale etc. The Overseas Workers Management Department states that the first three piloted provinces are Thanh Hóa, Quảng Ngãi and Yên Bái.
