VBSP’s total loans outstanding growth by 10% in 2015
The Prime Minister has decided to supplement 3.5% for VBSP’s credit plan in 2015, raising the target of VBSP’s credit growth plan in 2015 from 6.5% to 10% in the Decision No. 899/QD-TTg dated 22 June, 2015.
Over the past years, poor households have accessed to preferential loans in VBSP for production and business improvement
With the above plan, as of 31st December, 2015, VBSP’s total loans outstanding will expectedly reach over VND 141,000 billion. This expresses especial concern of the Government for the poor and other policy beneficiaries although the state budget is in difficult.
Besides, the decision to increase loan amount to the poor from VND 30 million to VND 50 million/household has facilitated the poor households, the near poor households and other policy beneficiaries with higher access to preferential credit, production and business investment, job creation, living condition improvement, sustainable poverty reduction. The loans outstanding growth rate consists with VBSP’s development strategy in the period of 2011 – 2020 approved by the Prime Minister.
