Nearly 10,000 workers in Hanoi get loans from VBSP to restore production
In which, VND 500 billion was used to lend to workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the city to overcome difficulties and create jobs.
Earlier, the city People's Committee issued Decision 1165/QD-UBND dated March 10, 2021 approving the plan to allocate capital from the municipal budget entrusted through the VBSP’s branch in Hanoi to lend to the poor and other policy beneficiaries in the second phase of 2021 with an amount of VND 550 billion.
Specifically, during social distancing, the city added VND 500 billion from the 2021 budget capital entrusted through the VBSP’s branch to lend to employees who need to restore and develop production and business.
The city plans to add VND 1 trillion to the entrusted budget through the bank’s branch in Hanoi to provide loans to businesses, cooperatives, business households and employees to restore production and business in the fourth quarter and the next period.
According to the branch, from the beginning of 2021 until now, the complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused many negative impacts on socio-economic life and production and business activities of people in Hanoi.
Many households facing difficulties in production, business and product consumption, had to downsize, suspend production and business or cut labor.
Facing that situation, the capital has been implementing synchronous solutions to remove difficulties and support people, workers, business households and other economic sectors to stand firm and stabilize their lives./.
