VBSP conducted study visits to Bangladesh, the Philippines and Indonesia
(VBSP News) Within the technical assistance project of strengthening VBSP capacity after Vietnam integration into WTO, Vịetnam Bank for Social Policies held three study visits on Microfinance for the poor and low-income households and development of Microfinance Institutions in Bangladesh, the Philippines and Indonesia from October to November 2007.
Field visit to Baitulmaal Muamalat MFI in Indonesia
The participants include VBSP senior managers and members in the board of researching and building the operational strategy for VBSP. The delegations studied and exchanged successful lessons and experiences on microfinance transformation, visited and worked with MFIs and beneficiaries in three countries. Accordingly, the delegations have also attained much important knowledge and expertise skills in microfinance management in order to support VBSP establish the new development strategy in accordance with the bank’s operation for the target of VBSP sustainable development in future.
