The effectiveness of policy credit in Ha Tinh
(VBSP News) Promoting the role of policy credit, the transaction office of VBSP branch in Huong Son district (Ha Tinh province) has supported thousands of poor households and other policy beneficiaries, especially in mountainous and remote areas, escaping poverty and raising incomes.
Until now, the total outstanding loans has reached over VND 519,936 million with nearly 10,000 active customers. The preferential capital has helped the borrowers to invest in developing production, raising livestock and poultry, expanding the agricultural land, maintaining and creating jobs for local people. Facing the complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the transaction office of VBSP branch in Huong Son district always adheres to the 5K rules and maintains a transaction schedule with poor households and policy beneficiaries in the area.
The guidelines and policies of the State on policy credit has been publicized at commune transaction points.
Receiving loans for households just escaped poverty, Hoang Huu Quoc's family in Hoi Son village, Kim Hoa commune invested in planting 1.5ha of oranges and raising 4 cows. Currently, his family has a stable income.
Hoang Phuc Thuan in Kim Linh village, Kim Hoa commune, borrowed VND 30 million from the scheme for households that just escaped poverty to invest in planting 1.5 ha of oranges, raising 6 buffaloes, earning an income of nearly 100 million VND/year.
Supported by VBSP branch in Huong Son district with a loan for households just escaped poverty and create jobs with the amount of VND 150 million, Tran Thi Thu Hang in Trung Bang village, Son Bang commune has invested in raising 100 goats, 4 cows and 25 wild boars. Currently, her family has a stable income and improved living standards.
Thanks to the preferential loan, Nguyen Van Thang's family in hamlet 9, Son Truong commune has invested in planting 2 ha of oranges, raising 4 cows for an income of more than 60 million VND/year.
Officers of VBSP branch in Huong Son district and socio-political organizations have visited the business model of orange growing of Thang's family.
Furthermore, in hamlet 9, Son Truong commune, Le Thi Ly is entitled to a loan of VND 50 million from the near poor household program to invest in planting 2 ha of oranges, raising 5 deer to stabilize their income.
Borrowing VND 55 million for the job creation program, Nguyen Van Hoi in hamlet 6, Son Truong commune has invested in growing oranges and raising deer with high economic efficiency.
The hilly land in the border region is witnessing a flourishing time thanks to the companionship of preferential credit from VBSP.
