Many businesses in Nghe An province have access to information on loans to pay salaries to laborers having their contract suspended

(VBSP News) VBSP Nghe An province actively approached more than 1,000 businesses, spread content of Resolution 68 and surveyed demands for loans. There have been 18 businesses registered to borrow nearly VND 6 billion.

The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued a document to implement the policy of lending to pay wages for laborers having their contract suspended and pay wages to restore production according to Resolution 68/NQ-CP and Decision 23/2021/QD-TTg.

In this official document, the People's Committee of Nghe An province assigned VBSP to organize the implementation of loan policies to ensure timely and in accordance with regulations; to coordinate with relevant organizations to capture information, approach and guide employers to complete loan documents; promptly handle arising problems and widely communicate lending policies.

In addition, the People's Committee of Nghe An province also assigned the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the State Bank of Nghe An province, related departments and units to closely coordinate with VBSP in the implementation process, promptly remove related difficulties and issues. The provincial Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs summarizes and reports the implementation results to the Provincial People's Committee.

The Provincial Social Insurance Agency shall implement and direct its units to promptly confirm the list of employees participating in compulsory social insurance requested by the employer.

The Tax Department of Nghe An province is responsible for implementing and directing its units to promptly notify the final settlement of corporate income tax in 2020 for employers in the fields of transportation, aviation, tourism, accommodation services and sending Vietnamese workers to work abroad under contracts who have completed tax finalization in 2020 as prescribed.

People's Committees of districts, cities and towns shall direct divisions, departments and People's Committees of communes according to their functions and tasks to closely coordinate with VBSP at district level in the process of organizing and deploying lending in the area; actively propagate and disseminate policies; reviewing and summarizing the demand for loans in the locality; closely supervising lending activities to ensure publicity, transparency and compliance with regulations, avoiding taking advantage of policies; promptly handling difficulties and issues arising in the implementation process.

Since Resolution No. 68-NQ/CP and Decision 23/2021/QD-TTg were issued, VBSP Nghe An province has actively researched to prepare implementation of the credit packages for businesses to pay wages to laborers having their contract suspended and pay wages to restore production to workers.

Along with measures to promote dissemination of the Resolution's content through the mass media, the provincial VBSP asked staff to proactively approach businesses to communicate and survey loan needs.

Currently, the provincial VBSP is finalizing implementation plan for each locality. In addition, VBSP has coordinated with business association, advising the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee of Enterprises to propagate and announce the policy of lending to pay wages for suspended work contracts and pay wages to restore production. Currently, the unit is actively supporting and guiding businesses and employers to complete their borrowing dossiers to timely disburse loans.
