VBSP’s inclusive finance supports the poor
(VBSP News) Total outstanding loans through mass organizations are over VND 4,500 billion, credit quality has been credibly improved. Overdue debt only accounts for 0.04% total outstanding loans. In 2020, VBSP branch in Son La province has loaned nearly 17 thousand customers, of which mainly focuses on lending programs for poor households, near poor households, production and business households living in extremely disadvantaged areas, clean water and rural sanitation program.

Customer Dieu Thi Diem (green shirt) in Quynh Thuan village, Chieng Pha commune, Thuan Chau district got a loan of VND 30 million in 2015 from VBSP to invest in planting 1 ha of dragon fruit. Up to now, the red dragon fruit tree has brought an income of VND 150 million / year for her family

Customer Tran Thi Tuyet in Kien Xuong village, Phung Lai commune, Thuan Chau district borrowed loans from the program of production and business households living in extremely disadvantaged areas to grow pomelos, tea and fish. Each year, she got VND 300 million

VBSP of Yen Chau district makes transactions with customers at the commune transaction point.

Thanks to VBSP’s inclusive finance for poor households, customer Do Ngoc Ha in Phieng Khai commune, Yen Chau district has the conditions to develop orchids, plum cultivation and animal husbandry, giving an average income from 150-200 million / year

Customer Dao Xuan Dung in Chieng Pan commune, Yen Chau district borrowed loans from job creation program to grow fruit trees and raise fish to bring stable income, create jobs for 3-5 workers

Many families in Quynh Thuan village, Chieng Pha commune, Thuan Chau district have access to credit for production and business in disadvantaged areas to develop passion fruit tree planting, bringing high economic efficiency
