VBSP deployed financial literacy application on mobile phone for their customers
(VBSP News) During the transaction in Long Hung commune of VBSP in Phu Rieng district (Binh Phuoc province), VBSP's staff have implemented the financial literacy application to mass organizations and Savings and Credit Groups.

Identification name on the application store is NHCSXH – GDTC. The NHCSXH-GDTC application helps users have better knowledge of financial management for individuals and households as well as receive the latest information about the Government's policy credit programs through VBSP.
The application has been released on Android and iOS platform and has different literacy modules with audio-visual for easy understanding and is designed to work in even low connectivity areas. It is aimed to inform them on preferential credit products & services, interest rate, guide them individual financial management and some successful customer stories. It also helps them gradually get acquainted with digital technology, especially customers in rural and remote areas.
The financial literacy application not only contributes to helping the poor and other last-mile populations access and use VBSP's financial products and services, but also contribute to the development of the national strategy for financial inclusion, national target programs on new rural construction, social security and sustainable poverty reduction.
Instructions on how to use the application
Up to now, the total outstanding loans of Long Hung commune have reached over VND 14 billion with 603 active customers from 12 Savings and Credit Groups, the balance of savings has reached over VND 480 million.
In the coming time, VBSP will continue to deploy financial literacy application to borrowers using smart phones. This is an important step towards providing VBSP services via a digital platform, helping VBSP's customers keep up with the process of implementing e-Government and national public services.
