Using effectively policy credit in Dak lak province
According to report of VBSP Dak Lak Branch, there are totally 11,793 post-poor households and 10,355 post-near-poor households in 2022, in which, 20,011 households could receive preferential credit (accounting for 89%). In the past years, policy credit programs were effectively deployed, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction in the locality.
Tens of thousands of households got out of poverty thanks to preferential policy credit in Dak Lak province
Promoting well the policy credit
Until now, the capital entrusted from the local budget is VND 422,141 billion, accounting for 6% of the total capital for implementation; an increase of more than VND 56.6 billion compared to the end of 2022. In which, Dak Lak province's budget capital is VND 30 billion; budget sources of districts, towns and cities are VND 22 billion; 15/15 units completing the plan to receive entrusted capital from the local budget.
With the drastic implementation of solutions to effectively implement social policy credit programs, now, the total outstanding social policy credit loan in Dak Lak province has reached more than VND 7,117 billion, an increase VND 786.9 billion compared to the end of 2022, a growth rate of 12.43%, with over 167,000 active borrowers. In which, loans to poor households, near-poor households and post-poor households reached nearly VND 3,771 billion, accounting for over 53.79%, an increase of VND 371.4 billion compared to the end of 2022. This is a program with the highest outstanding loan among social policy credit programs deployed in the area.
Particularly for 5 loan programs under Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP of the Government, the branch has disbursed an amount of over VND 302.2 billion to 5,062 borrowers. Lending programs under Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP have had positive effects. In particular, loans to job creation for 4,410 workers with an amount of VND 235 billion; loans for social housing under Decree No. 100/2015/ND-CP to 117 households with an amount of more than VND 41.3 billion; loans for students to buy computers, online learning equipments and cover study expenses to 82 students with an amount of VND 918 million; lending to 48 non-public preschool and primary education establishments with an amount of over VND 2.7 billion; lending to ethnic minority and mountainous households under Decree No. 28/2022/ND-CP over VND 74.2 billion with 405 active customers.
All eligible subjects have access to loans
In 2023, to achieve the highest efficiency in deploying policy credit programs in the area, VBSP Dak Lak Branch has actively followed the Directives, Resolutions of the Government, VBSP and the Party Committee and local authorities. At the same time, branch has also promoted policy credit lending activities to contribute to solving difficulties, developing the economy, stabilizing political security and implementing social security.
The total amount of entrusted capital from the local budget is more than VND 422.1 billion. From the beginning of 2023, the branch and mass organizations have focused on promoting lending and capital disbursement activities, thereby promptly meeting the capital needs of households and other subjects. The amount of loan capital from policy credit programs with supported interest rate of 2% is more than VND 1,342.4 billion; implement supported interest rate with an amount of more than VND 40.5 billion.
Currently, social policy credit programs are invested in 100% of communes and wards. Most the poor and other policy beneficiaries who are in need and eligible have timely received preferential loans, helping tens of thousands of poor households, near-poor households, and post-poor households have capital to invest in developing production and business, improving quality of life, and getting out of poverty.
