The poor in Nghia Thang commune enriched themselves by policy preferential credit
Policy credit programs in Nghia Thang commune made an important contribution in economic development, social security and new rural construction, especially creating chances for the poor households, near-poor households and other policy beneficiaries to create jobs, recover economy and overcome difficulties after Covid-19 pandemic.

Nghia Thang is a delta commune, located in the west of Tu Nghia district. The main economy of Nghia Thang is agriculture with wet rice cultivation, animal husbandry, and production forestry. The commune totally has 10 villages, of which 2 villages are in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, with 380 ethnic minority households. The whole commune has 2,787 households, in which 79 poor households (accounting for 2.83%) and 199 near-poor households (accounting for 7.14%). Until now, the outstanding loans has reached VND 60 billion with 1,168 active borrowers.

In the coming time, local governments and entrusted mass organizations positively propagate preferential credits to the poor households, near-poor households and other target groups for production development, livestock and jobs creation.
