VBSP thoroughly implements Directive No. 39-CT/TW
On December 6, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) held a conference to thoroughly grasp and implement Directive No. 39-CT/TW dated October 30, 2024, issued by the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat on enhancing the effectiveness of social policy credit in the new period. Mr. Duong Quyet Thang - Secretary of the VBSP Central Party Committee - Board Member - General Director attended and directed the conference.

Over the past 10 years of implementing Directive No. 40-CT/TW dated November 22, 2014, issued by the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat on strengthening the Party’s leadership over social policy credit, despite numerous difficulties and challenges, VBSP has consistently adhered to the Party's guidelines and leadership, as well as the Government’s directives. VBSP has worked closely with ministries, sectors, local Party committees and entrusted mass organizations to decisively implement social policy credit programs. As a result, the tasks and objectives set forth in Directive No. 40-CT/TW have been fundamentally achieved with the implementation of social policy credit during the 2014–2024 period achieving significant accomplishments and results.

Building on the achievements of implementing Directive No. 40-CT/TW, on October 30, 2024, the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat issued Directive No. 39-CT/TW on enhancing the effectiveness of social policy credit in the new period.
At the conference, General Director Duong Quyet Thang emphasized: "The entire system must recognize this Directive as a critical foundation and premise for continuing to effectively implement social policy credit, contributing to the country's socio-economic development in the upcoming period".
To effectively implement Directive No. 39-CT/TW, General Director Duong Quyet Thang instructed all units within the system to proactively coordinate with relevant departments, sectors and agencies to advise local Party committees on leadership and direction. This includes organizing studies, dissemination and thorough understanding of Directive No. 39-CT/TW among all Party members, staff to raise awareness of the significance and role of social policy credit, as well as the responsibilities of Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations regarding social policy credit.
