Tra Vinh supports 46 households in Cang Long town with safe water project
VBSP Cang Long district (Tra Vinh) has just disbursed VND 700 million to 46 households (in Cang Long town) to build safe water and rural sanitation facilities.

VBSP Cang Long District disburses loans to local people
These are the first households in Tra Vinh province to take loans under the credit policy for works of safe water and rural environmental sanitation according to Decision No. 10/2024/QD-TTg, dated July 15, 2024 of the Prime Minister.
The Decision has been effective since September 2, 2024 on credit for works of safe water and rural environmental sanitation, increasing the loan from 10 million VND/project to 25 million VND/project; applied in the town area.
The loan capital is for new investment, upgrading, renovation and repair of 02 types of clean water and rural environmental sanitation projects such as: installation of equipment, tools, exploitation, storage and treatment of water; build and repair of projects for collection and treatment of domestic, livestock, production and business.
At transaction point in Cang Long Town, VBSP Cang Long District has disbursed loans to 46 households eligible for the program of safe water and rural environment with total amount of VND 700 million; each household is entitled to an average loan of VND 10 - 25 million.
The program contributes to solving social security issues in Cang Long and meeting civilized urban standards towards building Cang Long Town into a type IV urban area.
