Over the past 21 years, since its establishment, VBSP Phu Tho Provincial Branch has strived to overcome all difficulties and challenges, proactively mobilized large resources and effectively organized programs of State policy credit. To date, the branch has been implementing 20 policy credit programs to lend to poor households and other policy beneficiaries. From small-scale but humane programs such as: lending to disabled people, lending to people who have completed their prison sentences, eliminating temporary housing, building permanent houses... to large-scale programs with wide influence such as: lending to poor households, ethnic minority households in disadvantaged circumstances to develop production and business, lending to students, and policy credit programs according to Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP of the Government on job creation and socio-economic development. Over the past 10 years, the local budget entrusted to VBSP reached nearly VND 112 billion, bringing the branch's total policy credit resource to VND 6,025 billion, an increase of 12.7% compared to the end of 2022.

Thanks to the large capital source, the extent of transaction points, the network of Savings and Credit groups and mass organizations, Phu Tho's credit officers seem to be empowered to timely bring preferential credit to remote and disadvantaged areas.
